Lee Ka Cheung in Toronto with TPS classmates 2010-06-27

Dear All:
As some of you may know that I came to Toronto last week to attend my niece's wedding. It was a very nice and joyful event. On Sunday (6/27), I was so pleased to have lunch with June and her husband Alwin, Au Fun Kai now named Au Kai, Wong Kwok Fai, Chan Chun Shun, Harold Kwok and Lau Kwok Tai (Shark Wing's brother PM class) at the local country club through the kind arrangement of Milky Boy (Harold). It was another joyful time for me. I believe we will see the pictures in due course.
After the lunch four of us (Au, Kwok, Lau and myself) went up north to visit Vincent Lam (another PM class) who was my closed classmate at University of Toronto. He was a chemist and has been retired 4 years ago after receiving two years bonus payment for his early retirement when his company was taken over by Johnson & Johnson. His house is nice and peaceful with a beautiful garden at the front yard and a river at the backyard with a boat mooring there. He told us he can easily catch bass at his backyard or take the boat flows to Lake Simcoe if he wants to catch bigger ones. In his workshop he also shows us the tools for ice fishing together with a snowmobile. He told us his route for the day is in the morning he will spend some times to review his investment portfolio through the Internet hoping to make his Dim Sum money for his week-end trip to the Chinese restaurant. Thereafter, he goes fishing or gardening, what a peaceful life!! Milky Boy told him he is really looking forward to the ice fishing and riding the snowmobile in the coming winter.
Reporting from Toronto and with my warmest regards to you all.
Ka Koo

Group Photos taken by Pik Ha after the Dec 27 Lunch

Pik Ha and the Panda

Dear Ralph,

Thanks very much for your fast and vivid report on our X'mas lunch gathering. As I'm not a net person, I have to ask my better half to attach two pictures for me to supplement the story. Being a great lover of the giant panda, I was doing a one-week internship at Chengdu Panda Base in Jun 2009 with my daughter who studies medicine in HK. Some of you may have known the historic and scenic spots in the area well.

Regards
Pik Ha
