Dear TPS Folks ,
Again, we had an enjoyable evening yesterday at Serenade Resturant, Tsimshatsui and thanks to Stephen's good arrangement plus his excellent wine sponsor.
It's great to see Pik Ha as young as teenage girl and time did not leave any traces on her face; retired life in Canada must have been a wise choice. While we found it a pity that she gave up her doctor profession a bit too early, she has in fact passed on the great mission to her younger daughter who will start studying medical in HKU soon. What an excellent delegation from a management perspective! Another big success this time was the re-union of Tang Chi to our camp and we all gave great credits to the blog which Stephen had created. We are looking forward to recovering the contact to more missing brothers & sisters !
It was also nice to have Won Yee & Chau Dan joining us this time and they all looked pretty & young as before; really no clues that half a century has gone! Ka Lui remained a big supporter to TPS gathering that she brought not only her better-half but also some old books & pictures for sharing. The climax of the evening was from Nainai who circulated his TPS result reports plus the memory book on which all classmates wrote encouraging words before leaving TPS in 1964. It was a wonderful memory on how we did it in those days and it was great to find how creative we were in dreaming up funny words to differentiate from each others; they were all big treasures and should be kept in museum. At the same time, Nainai brought our focus again to the lasting forever poem written by Lin Yun Mui to Koon Tai expressing the parting pains & the lingering passions. All of us regarded the poem a great masterpiece in the 60's! Stephen will put it on the blog to share with you later.
I attached two photoes of the gathering and you will find more pictures on the blog later. By the way, we are organizing a 5 days trip to Huang Shan China mid Oct to achieve another breakthrough re-union in the spectacular high mountains. Hope to see more TPS folks joining the coming big event..
