Dear
TPS Folks ,
I just
had a holiday trip to Canada with my wife for 2 weeks after my retirement and
was much honored to have met some TPS classmates there: Pik Ha & husband
(Alwin), Alex, Kwun Yan, Kwok Fai and Fun Kai in Toronto; Wing Yee & Husband
(Joe) and Man Tak in Vancouver. I was so glad to find them all healthy, young
& handsome and was also extremely excited because for some of them, I did
not see each other for almost half of a century! This was indeed a very valuable
gathering for me!
Our heartfelt thanks to the superb hospitality from
TPS friends in Canada: inviting us to very nice meals plus
excursion in Vancouver (indebted to Man Tak for his hard efforts of long
distance driving)! Despite the short gathering for only 2 days, we
were all overwhelmed in recalling the good old days and those naughty things
done in our childhood, ranging from putting nails & coins on the railway,
jumping train, catching warrior spiders, steeling sweet potatoes
and all sorts of other mischief; we were completely obsessed in nostalgia
complex. Anyway, this was how we grew up; we had very simple life as kids but we
reaped incredible amount of happiness & satisfaction which we are always
proud of.
Attached please find some snapshots of our gathering. TPS friends
in Canada are keen to welcome our visit from time to time and let’s hope we
could have re-union both in Canada and HK occasionally. By the way, in this
visit, I found out 2 more classmates with super memory power who can recall many
exact details of our TPS life: Fun Kai and Man Tak, in addition to our memory
power champion, Nainai. I really admire them !
Kind Regards
Tomson
